Nozipho & Zola’s Wedding

Nozipho & Zola got married at the gorgeous Collisheen Estate in Ballito this past weekend. They booked their wedding with us ages ago, and we had been helping them plan their wedding for many months, so when their special day finally arrived, we were extremely excited to be a part of it! Their wedding day was just as lavish as their love and adoration for each other. It is easy to see how much these two care for one another. We loved working with them throughout the months leading up to their big day and we had a blast photographing their wedding!

Tell us your love story! How did it all start and how did the journey lead to a proposal?

My husband was a Master’s student at the time we met, so he would tutor first years, I was a first year student. We connected and have been inseparable since. Few years later he proposed on our son’s 3^rd birthday and the rest is history.

Tell us what the inspiration behind your wedding was? How was your wedding fitting to your style and personality?

I have always wanted extravagant wedding so he worked really hard to make that happen. From a very early age I have always wanted a fairytale wedding and being a lover of fashion and all things trending, I incorporated that to our day.

Where did you get married and what did you love about your venue? 

We spent the entire December of 2013 looking at wedding venues. We would even book at those hotels and often discovered that the internet was quiet deceiving. The day I walked into Collishen Estate, I fell in love with their chapel. It was exactly what I wanted.

Do you have any tips and advice for couples planning a wedding? 

Take your time planning, don’t rush into booking service providers or venues. Do your research and in love with each other in all decisions you make. Compromising is the key.

Did your wedding include any do-it-yourself projects?

Not really but we did add a few personal touches to most the things we had on our day, e/g: we took pictures from our engagement shoot, together with the help of our amazing photographer Matt Masson and turned it into a message book for our guests.

Tell us about your experience working with us!

From our initial meeting with Matt, we loved how he interacted with his clients. Matt and his team always went the extra mile throughout our wedding preparations and we are so thankful for that.
